Work or Volunteer at the Carousel

It takes a village! Help with the care and feeding of the lion and his 45 wooden friends:  The Carousel Association employs 8-10 part-time tour guide/operators between Memorial Day and Labor Day. For the summer of 2024, a minimum of two new persons will be hired. Applications are due by May 3.

Carousel volunteers are needed year-round. Share your love and knowledge of our nation's most famous merry-go-round with people coming to the museum. Help with off season tours or sell tickets during the Fair. Help organize the yearly silent auction or decorate the carousel and the park for the holiday season.
